Vision Statement
Our vision is birthed from looking upon the Lamb who was slain. Jesus willingly endured rejection, betrayal, beating, humiliation, human mutilation, and ultimately death, giving Himself completely to redeem a people for His own possession. His suffering purchased more than our forgiveness and was not without purpose, and His blood was not shed without a reward.
We will spend our lives seeing Jesus receive everything His suffering purchased: a people consecrated to Him, hearts fully surrendered, and the nations gathered around His throne.

The “Co.” in Altar House Co. is intentional. Throughout Scripture, we see God gathering and forming a people around Himself. In Genesis 35, when God establishes Jacob’s identity as Israel and reaffirms His covenant, He promises that a “company of nations” would come from him. The Hebrew word qāhāl carries the picture of a people gathered and assembled with purpose.
We see a similar picture in the New Testament when Jesus says, “I will build my church.” The word ekklesia speaks of a gathered assembly, a people belonging to God. So when we use the word company, we aren’t trying to replace the Church. We believe God is drawing us back to something ancient: a people gathered by God, formed by God, and belonging wholly to Him.
We are a company of houses, priests, sons and daughters, men and women, and nations. We aren't simply attending something; we are becoming something before the Lord. A people gathered around one thing, ministering to one Man.
It’s Jesus. It must be Jesus.
We believe Altar House Co. has been called for one purpose, expressed through two functions. Everything begins and ends with Jesus, but we believe He has called this house to serve both those who belong here and the greater Church around us.
One Purpose — Two FunctionsWe exist to be a church.
A people gathered around Jesus, becoming a company of believers who desire something real, authentic, and wholly given to Him. We believe God is forming a new tribe within Altar House Co., a people who belong to one another, burn for His presence, and are being formed together into something precious before the Lord. We are a house for the presence of Jesus and his family.
We also exist to be an extension of The Church, for The Church.
We deeply believe in the local church and have no desire to pull people away from the houses God has planted them in. Instead, we want Altar House to be a place where believers from different churches, denominations, and backgrounds can come together to receive the ministry of Jesus, encounter His presence, and be refreshed before returning strengthened to where God has called them.
